Lexus RC 350 F-Sport & Coatings
This lovely 2015 Lexus RC 350 F-Sport came to us with only 19 miles on the clock. The owner wanted the Infrared paint finish, which by itself is an exceptionally beautiful color, perfected and protected right off of the showroom floor. The vehicle itself is a new vision for a Lexus performance coupe that offers truly aggressive styling, excellent design, and a return to rear wheel drive. It is ultimately the real spiritual successor of Lexus' past offering- the SC300. The RC 350 is just as much of a luxury vehicle as it is a sports car though. The interior is very nicely appointed with the leather and gorgeous trim that one expects in an Italian sports car of higher prestige. Infrared, the brilliant finish, is itself a complex paint surface that creates depth and out of this world gloss. The incredible glow is achieved through a 5-layer paint system that uses contrast layering to create a truly "infrared" glow and luster that cannot be achieved through traditional basecoat/clearcoat and even tri-stage paint jobs.
The owner decided that coatings on the paint surface, paint protection film on the bumper and hood, and full wheels and caliper coating was the ideal protection combination to ensure a long life and stunning appearance along with ease of maintenance. We also applied CQuartz Leather protection to high use leather surfaces in the cabin.
The car still traveled a long way to the dealership delivering the car so it was in definite need of a thorough decontamination upon arrival.

Post wash and decontamination. The paint is clean and ready for correction to hone in an already beautiful paint finish, prior to any film, coating or paint correction!
After our washes and decontamination it was time to get to work correcting the imperfections in the paint finish prior to coating. There were a number of areas of random scratching and general overall swirling throughout the entire vehicle as well as other defecting such as sanding tracers from the factory.

The paint finish post paint correction was absolutely glowing and all of us here at the shop couldn't help but stare. Following correction, it was time to prep and coat the wheels!

After curing and final details it was time to pull this car into the sunshine for final inspection. The depth and gloss is absolutely unreal. This paint finish combined with a coating is a knock out and will be for years to come. This was such an enjoyable project and we are thankful the owner chose us to prepare his new baby for a long life with him. We managed to get a short photo set in amazing weather after our detail.
